Sehr zu empfehlen! Gute Kommunikation und Information. Aber vor allem kompetente und erfahrene Piloten, die gleichzeitig auch die Bärenguides sind. Sie führen die Gäste einerseits zu den Bären, sorgen aber auch für die Sicherheit aller.

Did the bear tour into Hallo Bay (Katmai) and it was awesome. The flight in was pretty rough but so it goes! Much better than standing on a deck at Brooks Falls. The pilots/guides also take professional photos of the bears so if you want to stay off your phone and enjoy being in the moment you will still leave with amazing photos and they don't charge extra for you to download them. Highly recommend them. I also recommend planning quite a few days in Homer if this is your be all end all tour. Flights can get canceled because of weather and it can be common. My wife and I went on the Classic Bear Adventure tour for her 60th birthday.  Our pilot and tour guide, Ty was absolutely fantastic.  What an experience to walk and hang out with Brown bear mothers and their cubs.  We also saw a couple males as well, but they generallly just kept walking on their way to get something to eat.  Beautiful scenery, beautiful flight, and just a great day walking, learning about the bears, and enjoying the company.  We were five passengers in the Cessna plane.  Our pilot flew us near the mountain and volcano tops which were absolutely beautiful.  I strongly recommend Alaska Bear Adventures.  Great company, delivered on everything they promised.  This was a great trip all around!!!  Thank you.

We just had an amazing experience with Ty and Alaska Bear Adventures.  They are all about our safety and the wellbeing of the bears to make for an exciting encounter.  It was definitely different flying over to the beach in a prop plane, especially with some fog to wait out in the morning. We were a bit nervous, but our very experienced pilot and guide, Ty, made sure we flew only when it was safe to do so. The scenery from the plane was extremely beautiful and we spotted some bears from above.  Once on the ground Ty checked in with us and then instructed us how to be safe in viewing the bears.  We walked the beach and the mud flats as a tight group in our handy waders supplied by Alaska Bear Adventures and viewed bears and cubs digging clams, napping and running in the shallow waters. We went to Brooks on July 18th!  And it was an unforgettable experience.  I compared several different companies and chose this one b/c of the time on the ground at Brooks, the information shared about the staff/owner and past reviews.  You will NOT be disappointed!  I had several questions prior to booking which Sphinx answered promptly, phoning me back etc., each time.  Then remarkably, days before our booking when we learned my son was going to visit us, she was able to add him to our trip!  The entire staff from checking in the day before and then the day of was FANTASTIC!  The real treat was our pilot JAMES!!!  He's the real deal ..... what a great tour guide, relaxed and really showed us a great time.  Professional all the way around this crew.
