Ring of Fire Tour - 2.5 to 3 hours

Across Cook Inlet belongs two volcanoes that belong to the famous “Ring of Fire”. The Ring of Fire is a horseshoe-shaped string of volcanos stretching as far as 25,000 miles (40,000 kilometers). Locally, we are lucky enough to be surrounded by several and get a stunning view of the volcanoes silhouetted by the ocean and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

  • The Ring of Fire Tour will fly you across Cook Inlet and fly you around Augustine and Illiamna volcanoes. The flight across Cook Inlet is approximately 45 minutes each way, keep an eye out for local fishermen jetting out of the Homer boat harbor, small villages below the Kenai Mountain Range that border the ocean, and plumes of smoke from the volcanoes if they feel like saying hello.
  • This trip is a great option for photographers, those looking to take to the skies, wanting to check off “fly in Alaska bush plane”, and many others. All passengers must be comfortable flying in a Cessna 206 that fits up to 5 passengers and your pilot and passengers must be able to get in and out of the plane with minimal assistance.
